(Ongoing) Visual Branding of "World Refugee Day" in Lithuania | Ministry of Social Security and Labour x Art Agency “Artscape” (2022)
Client:
Ministry of Social Security and Labour and Art Agency “Artscape”
Year:
2024
World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20 and celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution.
For the second year in a row, I am very glad to create the visual identity and designs for the music festival dedicated to honouring this day in Lithuania, named "Cultural Rhythms."
“Cultural Rhythms” is the idea that different cultures have their own unique rhythms, representing their traditions, experiences, and self-expression. My goal is to express this slogan and incorporate Vilnius as the meeting and living place for all these cultures. This is how the main illustration was conceived. I am now designing various materials needed for promoting the festival and for the event itself, including:
- Social media visuals
- Banners and posters
- Informational roll-ups
- Stage tents
- Badges
- Marketing materials such as tote bags
- And more
Additionally, I am creating video advertisements that were broadcast on the national broadcaster TV channel (LRT) and JCDecaux screens throughout the city.
I extend my gratitude to Art Agency ARTSCAPE and the Ministry of Social Security and Labour for inviting me to participate in this very important day.
**Organizers:**
- Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania
- Arts Agency ARTSCAPE
The project was co-funded by the European Union.
