The 51st International Folklore Festival “Skamba Skamba Kankliai” took place in Vilnius from May 23–26, 2024. This festival, one of the few authentic ethnic music events in Europe, has become an annual celebration for fans of Lithuanian folklore. Traditionally held on the last weekend of May, the festival unites a vibrant, well-connected community every year. It showcases the relevance of intangible cultural heritage and offers artistically valuable experiences, allowing attendees to be part of a continuing cultural legacy.
For the third consecutive year, I had the honor of creating the visual identity for this event. This included designing the festival logo and a range of design deliverables, such as:
* Flyers, brochures, stickers
* Posters and banners
* Festival programs
* Social media graphics and digital ads
* Media banners
* Merchandise designs, including paper bags, badges etc.
*
In addition to static designs, I produced promotional videos for the festival, which were featured on the national broadcaster LRT channel and ACME screens. These videos played a key role in promoting the event and engaging a wider audience.
